Over the years, I have provided accounting and tax preparation services, training, and support for a wide range of organizations from small start-ups and professionals to large multinationals. I've acted as an outside controller and have represented clients during GST-HST, WSIB, Corporate and Personal Income Tax Audits,  and CPP  and OSAP Appeals. I have acted as Power of Attorney. 

 

After opening a computer training center in a retail environment and completing Computer Associates Dealer (ACCPAC) training, I founded an organization that sold accounting software and hardware and provided training on-site and in a classroom environment as a Registered Educational Institution. Kids' Computer Classes were added and they caught the attention of CFTO who showed them on Eye On Toronto. The organization also became an IBM Best Team member

 

Lifelong learning has been my passion. I have attended writing and editing courses, such as Train the Trainer and Adult Education courses, wrote training manuals and joined the Copyright Institute.

 

I earned the Chartered Financial Planner designation in 1990, and returned to the Certified General Accountants program, completing it in 2015 just as the accounting bodies merged. I was admitted as a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and Canada after completing an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University in 2018. I completed a Master of Business Administration degree at Laurentian University in 2020.

I am an Associate Member of The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners; a supporter of Covenant House and Habitat for Humanity; believe in environmental sustainability support the Canadian Wildlife Federation and The Nature Conservatory of Canada.
